Whats worse, over 200 miles of subway lines built when the lines were privatized. Just a few dozen miles since the govt seized them.

They never subsidized operation. They did force them to keep prices artificially low until they went bankrupt. And then immediately raised the fare after the city takepver.

Most if the elvated lines and the Brighton line and Roackaway line had no construction subsidy btw.
