I avoided this film when it first came out because I'm not a fan of gore, but I finally decided to watch it and it was far better than I expected.

Curious how many of you would have kept fighting to survive after watching your own kid murdered in front of you and being so injured that survival seemed almost impossible? I personally would have been happy to go and likely not fought back. But how to kill self remains the question. Starve self, bleed to death or just wait it out?

Just to kill the murderer? In the end, another good man had to die just to catch that fucker.

It also made me think how scary it is that once a grizzly with cubs spots you, there’s really no escape no matter what you try.

Horrific story. I'd never go into bear territory without spray and a rifle. Even that won't save you if it hits you from behind, like what happened to Hugh Glass in The Revenant.

I thought the bear attack came later in the movie. It caught me off guard, especially that the worst part of the mauling happens after the bear has already been shot.

Lmao one of the final big stories on Drudge Report was about how Leonardo DiCaprio is raped by a bear in this film. Completely made up.
