I told her (the defendant) to reject the offer because the prosecution's case was weak (and I was skeptical about her making it on probation without pissing hot and getting popped for that). Pressure was really on after that because she had an out and I told her not to take it. Went to trial and copped that Not Guilty verdict. I sometimes feel enormous pressure knowing that I'm literally the last chance they will ever have at any relief from the justice system. But then I realize they're already guilty as fuck, that I lose 99% of my cases, that the appellate system is stacked against them, so there's nothing much I can do so it's no big deal.
