I've done some cool panos.
One was of a flight of geese during a pretty awesome sunset over the lake at our family cabin. That one I printed off in a pretty large format & had framed.
Another was a view from our seats for a playoff game at Lambeau Field. I admit, that sort of thing is really tired by now. But the context for this one was different. There's only been one playoff overtime pick-six in NFL history - the Matt Hasselbeck "We want the ball and we're gonna score!" game. Al Harris was running right at me with that walk-off INT. Seeing my pregame pano is pretty neat, you get a greater sense of the pandemonium that is going to occur in a few hours.
Both of these I did well before phones could do panoramas, I made them by taking a series of photos & stitching them together with Hugin.
