I've been posting about this for a while. All these SHITLIBS love to talk about how much they LURRRVVVEEE Uber, but then they're conflicted because it doesn't match what their lib overlords are telling them.
People who criticize Uber's methods are hilarious. Lib politicians, lib-popular companies like Apple, in many examples when liberalism + capitalism/competition mix, they get results similar to Uber. It's absurd how they single out Uber. All hypocrites.

Taxi cabs are highly regulated and all around shitty in most cities. Uber is unregulated and better in every regard, including price.
If they recognize the value of Uber, they are recognizing value in deregulation.

This article seems to purposely ignore the rather critical fact that 3 or 4 years ago, the taxi cab union had a "monopoly" everywhere, and a government-backed monopoly at that. And everyone hates taxis.
Basically, this whole thing just reads as a thinly veiled (or maybe not even veiled) gripe by a pro-unionist frustrated that its shitty unionized service industry is being pwn3d by a more efficiently run company that actually delivers quality service to customers.
