Zoomers at the dog park are so awkward about not "gendering" your dog

I have a Swedish Vallhund and take it to the local dog park. It looks like a German Shepard on a corgi frame. But it's an ancient viking dog breed used for herding sheep. Gorgeous dogs.
People are always asking what kind of dog it is. Older Millennials (like 39+) and above will just say "what kind of dog is he? But younger ones, especially zoomers all tatted up with doodle drawings, will say stuff like "what a cool dog, what is their breed?" And sometimes I like to play dumb and say "their? Did you see a 2nd one running around?" But they will NEVER assume gender of even a dog. Very funny to me
It's a great ice breaker by the way if you're into meeting women and getting phone numbers or whatever (I'm not).
