Date: May 20th, 2026 12:18 PM Author: Ivory Gas Station i wore a sanitary mask well after the peak of the event and took some steps to avoid large gatherings and that was sufficient. i treated the virus myself when i caught it, something like a bad cold, and had no lasting issues other than some joint pain. i don't think that either camp was correct on the topic and had no problem finding a happy medium that allowed me to still engage in public life without being much of a risk to myself or others. a mask, immune boosters, and avoiding large gatherings or visibly sick people worked fine. the only thing that i think of still w/r/t covid was how much more quiet and polite the world was when half the population was convinced that anybody and everybody could be carrying the equivalent of a viral bomb around in their trachea. |
