she then fired me and hired TT's former firm. i talked to the new counsel, who was an older guy, very nice dood. i was talking to on halloween and he was asking if i was taking my kids out and said "boy, they must be really excited huh?" i enjoyed shooting the shit with him. he sounded very distressed about the case, like he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do. i kinda loled and said yea good luck. i told him i hadn't been fired by a client before but i was honestly happy about this one. there couldn't have been a more open-and-shut example of a guilty employer, there was seriously zero defense and so there was no point to a trial, but she refused to settle.
the new lawyer died suddenly in early 2023. i think he was in the SF or oakland office. i forget his name.
i have dealt with a handful of indian business owners. they are slimy as fuck, always looking for ways around rules of all kinds. seriously disgusting race of people. |

i think smaller/midlaw firms are much more stable. my current firm seems that way anyway. |
