This legit is the most optimistic piece of news about America I've seen in a while. And the 17% are gonna be pissed as many of them realize Trump is lying and it won't happen. |

A lot of people would agree with the second poll that they'd like $5000 in free money but would still oppose Trump's proposal either because they don't like the political bribe aspect (conditional on Republicans winning) or because they are smart enough to know they will never get the money.
In any event, enough Republican Senators have said they are against it to kill it and that political impossibility of it should filter through to voters by November. |
