I designed retirement like mad :)! There’s an amazing series of books by Stanford professors called “Design Your Life” and I use their design tools all the time.
Recently, my favorite parts are the crazy-wild-fun side quests I’ve been on… which includes wood working and circuit boards/ electronics.
I also slow traveled through dozens of counties over several years post-FI. |

I'd spend a full week studying for some advanced mechanical engineering exam only to get a B- because there was only One Right Answer. The Liberal Artists, on the other hand, just wrote gibberish essays the night before and got an A- for their gibberish analyzing feminine culture in America in the 1960s or whatever. Back when I was in undergrad, a Liberal Arts degree gave you the same knowledge as reading like 20 Wikipedia articles. Top realistic outcome is some bigfed job unless some dumb hiring manager at a High Paying Company is retarded enough to hire someone simply because of which school they went to.
