As horrible as Bass is and as horrendous the fires were and her mismanagement of them, the fires were really a rich people's problem. Most of LA is working class to lower middle class, increasingly Mexicanfied. It hurt Pratt that many of his natural supporters don't actually live in LA but Beverly Hills or Culver City or the other small communities surrounded by LA proper.
Bass will win reelection comfortably. |
