but plenty of them were much nicer, really depended on the location. in its prime, there would be cheap birthday parties for little kids at franchisee mcd's locations with the big indoor playground setups. people would definitely hang out in the nice suburban ones and people from all walks of life would eat in them. part of the design vibe of wendys locations in the 80s and 90s was to offer a different dining room 'vibe' to the distinct mcd's ambiance. don't forget mcd's pioneered or popularized many of the fundamental features of the classic mega fast food chain experience. |

You couldn’t have the “old” McDonalds even if you wanted to. Demographic and cultural changes aren’t McD’s fault.
