The 45 minute drive, the ginormous parking lots with the shuttles, "did I forget to bring my iPod?"-type worries nagging at you constantly, the TSA examining your backpack with all your drugs in it, the endless walk to your gate, which is at the very end of the terminal, followed by the announcement that your flight has moved to a new gate 5 minutes before boarding. Then you sit in one place for countless hours. You take piss breaks not because you have to piss but because you need to stretch your legs. The fat men snoring. The delayed takeoff due to "weather."
