But you've already researched climate change, right? There's nothing I can say that you haven't already heard.
But asking "Why are people who believe something that would cause anxiety experiencing anxiety?" is breakfast level retarded. If you're genuinely perplexed about why so many people believe it I'd encourage you to engage in some intellectual humility.
There's only two possibilities: (1) There's enough merit that huge groups of intelligent people believe it (even if they're mistaken) or (2) Those otherwise intelligent people are retarded on this issue. Whichever you land on, your question ITT is answered.

A lot of weird German behavior is driven by their anxiety over having to import oil, going back to WW2 and probably earlier.
If the world ever successfully moved to “renewable” energy or whatever they’re calling non-fossil fuel stuff these days, Germany would probably benefit the most.

Again this all comes back to Hitler not knowing the US exists and allying with Useless bros like Mussolini. I see no point to the Japan alliance either other than to curry favor with the Emperor which has knock-on effects 60 years later w/r/t Gaming.
Why not ally with the US? If he could show us Canadian Indian phenotypes in 2026 we’d go all-in.
Reminds me of playing pickup basketball and none of the URMs or Scumjocks pass it to me no matter how open I am. Hitler did not notice America. The country that made 10,000k B25s. One for each Jew killed in the holocaust. We had oil iirc.

'climate change' and 'the environment' are like the designated safe outlet for people who want to expend all of their mindless busybody political energy without examining actual structural problems like Jews, white genocide, globocap (Jews), Epstein (Jews), et cetera.
the Germans are not allowed to have substantive political views since the War, so they are particularly susceptible to this.

Depends on which part of Germany.
E. Germany - if you read about life in the GDR, recycling was a national survival strategy post WW2.
W. Germany - they are massive low T shitlib globalist cucks that love to virtue signal.
However, this comes together to mean that all of Germany is huge on green everything and recycling and all that.

"I really think that climate change is completely made up and that nothing bad is ever going to happen and there's no reason to worry"
This is what I mean by "ignorance." Again, it's not an insult; I'm just saying that people who don't know anything about a particular topic are by definition ignorant. Obviously there are tons of areas of knowledge in which I'm ignorant.
And yeah, I came to Hawaii because I have the resources to not have to worry about this topic for my own purposes. But there are going to be tens of thousands of proles whose houses get burned up between CA and OK who are going to wonder why it happened, and conclude that it's because lazy government workers didn't sufficiently rake our beautiful forests each fall, as Mr. Trump advised them to do back in 2018.

It's an objective fact that global temperatures are rising. I think the playbook now is to admit that at least but quibble about whether an antropogenic link can be proven. Denying that temperatures are rising period puts you in flat earther tier, just denying observable reality.

heads I win, tails you lose
when there's an adverse climate event, it's climate change
when there's no adverse climate events, you can't say climate change isn't real
there is, in fact, no way to disprove climate change.
here is some proof of climate change:
1. The Earth is objectively getting warmer over time
2. Every climate scientist agrees
3. There is no debate.
Earth >>>>> Warmer
Period. End of discussion. Earth got warm, therefore, climate change.
Nothing can disprove it. No one alive can refute it. Earth is warmer than it was. Humans did it. Just look at the industrial revolution we now pollute and we didn't before. Carbon emissions did this. It's completely settled.

My only interest ITT was calling you a retard for "Why do people who believe in imminent catastrophy anxious about it."
Since then I've ignored your repeated attempts to engage. There's not much I can say to questions like "what is the link between global average temperatures and weather, if any" other than that they're retarded on its face since temperature is one of primary components of weather.
I thought not replying to your to your multiple lengthy replies made this obvious. I trust laying it out explicitly puts the matter the bed. I sincerely hope this helps!

Hard to believe that there are still people who think "If climate change is real how come it's snowing?" but here we are.
Again, if you don't want to come off as a complete retard you should quibble about how an anthropogenic cause cannot be conclusively established or that changing policies in the west won't solve the problem because of China, et al. Denying that temperatures are rising period is just denying objective, measurable reality. ***Pointing out that some places have cooled in response to global average temperatures rising only serves to highlight your stupidity***

Buddy of mine once had a German friend come visit during late spring (april or May). We went to this outdoor music festival and it was super pleasant, sunny, dry-ish. Definitely not "cool" but totally fine. By noon he was about to pass out, he kept saying he couldn't believe how hot it was, this was the hottest he'd ever felt, etc. I lost a lot of respect for Germany in general that day.
Also Mommsen says that during the classical era, the climate of Italy was more like Germany's today, and the climate of Germany more like Finland's today. So they have ancestor memories of icy boreal forests and their amygdalas simply haven't been able to adapt. all jmho but this is pretty scientific

Haven't read the entire thread for obvious reasons, but "climate change" as a concept exists for two reasons:
1.) To get people (mostly in Europe) mentally onboard with lower living standards because they do not have enough energy to keep per capita standards growing (or anywhere near the standards of the average American);
2.) To keep the debt bubble going.
Reason 2 is getting tossed by the wayside because AI now serves this role (and just so happens to require tons of energy oops hehe anyways gotta go!)
