I am not some F1 fan and won't pretend to be, but there is something incredibly grating about these new "F1 fans" today. As others said, it's been turned into yet another Social Media status thing. Pathetic.
I also laugh when people talk about Verstappen as being the GOAT when he has more-or-less said he can't heel-toe. I know the F1 cars haven't had traditional shifters in a long time, but this seems like something the world's "best driver" should be able to do regardless. Compare him to Senna who ripped it in a prototype NSX while wearing a pair of dress loafers. Just a totally different breed. |
