The guy I bought by house from was an nyc garbage man and made $200k pretty much every one of his last 10 years and one year made $275k. See thru NY verified. That doesn’t include the zero he paid towards his city health insurance and what he gets from his pension. He retired at 42 and told me at the closing he wishes he got to start earlier but couldn’t bc the test isn’t given often and he knows someone who retired at 40. He now has some other private investigator business that he has no pressure to succeed (which means it will) bc he has his pension coming in. His wife was like 33 and beautiful and they have 3 kids. I bought my house from him for like 1.8x what he paid during Covid. He’s like 6’1 and jacked. Whole neighborhood hates me bc he was apparently a very fun guy and had the neighborhood over every weekend at the pool. Our power went out and I didn’t know how to start the generator and it was the talk of the town bc apparently he had the best generator on the block (which he left for me). Everyone is terrified of me bc they think I’m a rat face who will sue.
XO is retarded what they think people make. The better hypo is 6’5 guy who works at a bank branch making $130k trying to convince people to put their savings money into investments, which my current neighbor does vs a 5’9 big lawyer who makes $500k.
Edit the OP says biglaw partner but still would choose garbage man. |

Then you become a supervisor or do some other dumb shit like office stuff or if you’re lazy you go around writing these weird parking tickets to people that they’re allowed to do or maintain the trucks. He said very few people actually touch garbage their whole “career.” He said he would sit in his office building his side business.
Meanwhile I have to go to court at 2 for a state “compliance conference” to find out none of the other lawyers on this case complied with the dates now we have to push it back 8 months. All because our new “female lawyer” had a mental breakdown this week and had to call out but she’s posting instagrams from Long Branch. |
