Sucked ass. You had to talk to prospects at the same time as another 6 people. Doing it from home makes a huge difference in your ability to concentrate and do a better job. Same with responding to emails, in the office I had to wear headphones and listen to super loud white noise to be able to concentrate. It was a bloody nightmare. As for why people failed to demand wfh, employers just kept rescheduling RTO over and over and over and over again until it stuck. They were undeterred by failure. Death by 1000k cuts. |

My hours are also super erratic because of supporting global operations. And I support groups in a bunch of different buildings, so I’m constantly moving all over the place for meetings.
Basically, none of my managers ever knows where I am or what I’m doing, but they *really* don’t care so long as the work gets done well and the clients remain extremely happy. |
