My 64 is a Ping Bunkr

It's like a cheat code for green side bunkers or thick rough

Use the other wedges almost exclusively for chipping & pitching or lob/flop shots

It depends what you're looking for

If you're not chasing any performance with irons then don't think about it

I was struggling with a left miss and went through 2 fittings and 4 sets of irons before I realized that bending my 2023 mizunos 2 degrees flat (and neutralizing hand placement) solved everything

I would probably upgrade wedges and driver first if you're not trying to solve a specific issue

Your current irons are probably fine if you kept playing them this long

The biggest sign to drop a club(s) for me is when I don't feel the addictive sensation from hitting the sweet spot

I would have thought you should be playing at least a 10.5 degree driver given that on the clips you've posted your downswing seems steep and maybe even negative AoA on driver with an out to in path. I guess if you tend to deliver an open club face the lower loft makes sense to give you the correct dynamic loft.

I play the 430 10k and the 10.5 degree beat out the 9.0 degree for me with a month of testing both at ~103mph avg club speed with a neutral to 5 degree upward AoA. Still have my 10.5 430 Max I gamed last year, but I think the 10k beats it on lower average spin and not having spin balloon up on low or heel strikes, ultimately giving slightly better front to back dispersion.

I might try to pick up some 430 or 440 woods or hybrids. My cobra ltdx 5 wood is prone to massive hooks and I think it sits too upright and want the ping flat setting. Cobra King Tec 4 hyrbid I really like as I can toe weight it to give it some built-in fade bias, but it's still easy to turn over if I want.

I fixed my driver swing a lot since that video, I shallowed the fuck out of it and am a bonafide sweeper now

Also adopted Finau's minimal shoulder turn, effortless swing

Last few rounds I hit my driver better than everyone all day

I tried every combo of loft and tee height; 9* and 2.5 inches definitely works the best for some reason to optimize backspin and launch angle

If I significantly increase my swing speed, I would probably go up to 2.75" or 3" to account for the change in low point

Your swing speed is a good 5-10 mph faster than mine

Check out the st-max 230 hybrids/woods. I specially chose them because they have minimal to no draw bias (unlike most GI hybrids)

Adjusting your current hybrids +2 degrees might also help reduce hooks / promote a fade

This is just my long ball setup (eg, desert courses, links style or championship tees)

Normal bag only has driver, wood, hybrid, 6-LW etc

Ok but what's the gapping on all those? I bet you hit all of the driving iron through 5H 175 to 225. You don't need 6 clubs in that range.

Then you've got a 9 degree gap and a 10 degree gap in the clubs that should be scoring for you. And don't get me started on an amateur carrying a 64 degree wedge. Am I engaging with flame? Smells like flame.

Normal gapping on 5i to 9i is like 110-170

Does that seem like a huge difference from 170 to 230?

Woods/hybrids/utility irons all have different trajectories and more variability off different lies

I don't consider 7i to be a "scoring club" other than short par 3s

Unless your long course is Beth Page black or some shit you'll have a lot more shots from 170 in than 170 out.
