I remember when this album first came out, everyone was excited for it, but a lot of people hated it. I loved it though and still do. It's such a trip. I kinda think Goliath doesn't hold up as well now that it's been 15+ years since its release. Don't get me wrong, the songs on Goliath are great, but there's something about the totality of the album that drops it compared to the others.

the first 5 tracks on Goliath are as good as it gets, but yes it's almost impossible to listen through. I mostly skip to the jam part on Askepios then move on
