All of these people are missing the point: Valve shoulda used an ARM platform like the MacMini. If there was no ARM platform available they should have hit dat cancel until one materialized.

Or they should have cut a deal with Apple to use actual Apple silicon. They could run Arch and Proton on M1 Mac Minis. Instead they shoveled old laptop parts into a cube with no battery
