I figure it will take like a dozen attempts to get good at it so this one may be a bit rough. I started with one about Paul Singer just to get my feet under me and learn how to do basic editing:

You seemed either really uncomfortable and nervous at first or ~85 IQ. I skipped forward a few minutes and it smoothed out a bit, so I don't think it's the IQ thing
SUGGESTION: Make 5 - 10 throwaway videos that you don't upload. Use it to get comfortable speaking. Then do more videos. Also, for godsake, don't put graphics over your own fucking face/head/etc. I mean what the fuck |

I would also want to have some shit that is actually interesting or entertaining right off the bat to establish that you're someone they should subscribe to or to check back in on
If I were reviewing fast food or trying to build a brand around "me" rather than "my work," I would have less concern about polish
With that said, I'm not a youtuber and don't want an audience, so its not like I know what I'm talking about |
