everyone wore shoe lifts that adjusted for each person so that everyone's height ended up the same (6'7"). it seemed like a silly gimmick that wouldn't play out very differently from a regular party but things ended up getting pretty wild
women were no longer able to discern which men were attractive because they were no longer differentiated by height, so they were choosing and flirting with men basically at random. one woman who i work with ended up making out with this guy who is normally 5'10" and apparently when they tried to get busy in the guest room, she totally freaked out when the guy took off his lifts while undressing
she ended up trying to commit suicide (unalive herself for you zoomers) once she realized what had happened. me and the host were able to stop her just in time. it kinda shook me tbh. i'm a relatively short guy myself (6'2") but it made me realize how important Height is and how glad i am that it's a thing because it keeps society orderly and sane
