The only wealth I care about for current purposes is wealth that allows me to live comfortably indefinitely. I don't count wealth that I can't or won't touch for nearly 2 decades.
Does it exist? Yes. Is it mine? Yes. Might it as well be at the bottom of a trench? Yes. It unlocks nothing for me, and my retirement number wouldn't change by a penny even if my retirement account went to 0. |
