I ordered a new bumper but it's really ugly right now. Highly entertaining picking up my girls from dance in it. That was the fastest they've ever gotten in the car.

We bought a new house and I might be driving to work for the first time in almost 20 years. My other cars are two land cruisers and a jeep. So because of Trump's war in Iran I have decided to help the environment with a hybrid.

Yeah I unfortunately agree. My 96 is triple locked and that's totally a waste on me. I don't buy them to off road, I buy them because they can take the abuse I put on cars. Sad that 96 drove my wife to the hospital for three kids and my dad drove it for a year before he died. I paid $2700 for it 17 years ago and I'm looking to sell it for $8k.

Drives great with battery replaced in 2023. It reminds me of the SNL parody about the luxury car that looks like a piece of shit on the outside.

I saw the car pop up for $2k and I instantly told the lady I'd buy. I was just telling when I pulled up that I suck at haggling, as in I'll just pay what's listed but instead she blurted out $1500.

Do a Prius, 04-09 and preferably with a new battery. I did a lot of research. I personally love driving pos cars. You can ding them or shove things with them and no worries.

What year? I was told after 2010 they have a head gasket issue.

They were the fleet vehicle at my old job so I've driven them a lot. I was actually impressed with how much stuff you can pack into one.

My daughter turns 16 next week and she's getting my commuter car that I drive now.

had a 2026 Prius as a rental recently.

felt like i was driving around in a roller-skate. could only fit a single large suitcase in it.

but very fuel efficient.

also drove a Hyundai sonata hybrid rental recently.

maybe not quite as good on gas, but still pretty good.

felt like driving a normal car, and quite peppy.

An 05 Prius is utterly gut less, zero pep and not even a hint of an enjoyable drive. But I'm doing my part to save us from climate change.
