Date: July 18th, 2025 2:08 AM Author: Outnumbered Garnet Haunted Graveyard a lot of the time those sorts of engagements have that AvP movie poster "whoever wins, we lose" feel to them partisan politics are fine when the times call for them but being animated by (genuine, non-performative, not entertaining or illustrative hyperbole) hatred towards entire swathes of the voter base and not just specific policies is ludricrous and anti-american. you get called a "faggot" for trying to make sure that everyone born here has a home, though a historical materialist look at political matters takes into account that all phenomena occurring under the umbrella of political action have roots in prior phenomena that stem from economic, political, and social causes within the national polity and its social bodies and that these causes should always be accounted for by politicians or commentators or voters making a judgement on a situation. this is also how many jews think, btw, in apportioning guilt for error (but that isn't necessarily from a secular-materialist perspective) i'm not really a hardcore diamat guy per se and find it profane when applied to certain matters but it it's useful and correct very often |
