If you tell anyone about the snail, you die.

If the snail touches you, you die.

The snail cannot be killed.

The snail alway knows your location.

i guess i was thinking i could tell someone to lock it up without explaining any of the rest of the rules

also i could just lock it up myself, i could just rent a whole hazmat suit as a one time thing

what exactly does the fine print say on touching? can i touch it with gloves? can i poke it with a pole? or is this all left intentionally ambiguous so i'd need to risk my life to find out the answer?

Is the snail subject to the physical constraints of any snail? I’ve never had a snail in my house.

i'm assuming the snail is some kind of Terminator creature and will not be contained or stopped

perhaps it has an acid slime trail and will burn through any container you put it in. that said some quick math shows that it would take over a day for a snail to travel a single mile so it would be easy to keep away without substantially interrupting your life

this is a pretty good deal

just move to the opposite coast every 8 and a half years and you will very likely never encounter this snail within a 300 mile radius of your person
