while both sides were wrong in 2022 predicting one side was about to come out on top, russia has continued to push and occupy more territory, so i think the russiamos have turned out to be more correct than the ukrainemos. |

Ukraine is able to trade land lost while conserving forces. some times they can gain land back at an acceptable and sustainable cost
russia pays a very high price, unsustainable actually, to "gain" this land. all the while nothing of strategic value is gained by the russians |

i have no skin in the game. i know you think i'm a russiacuck because i think they're winning, but i'm not really rooting for either side. i think they're winning because they continue to press forward, and arguments that they're losing the war of attrition aren't very persuasive when i've heard that for years and russia continues to advance, russia is a much larger country and has significantly more manpower and weapons, and ukraine is still going hat in hand across the west begging for aid.
when do you think ukraine is going to release these mystical reserve forces to push russia out? why are they still playing possum when ukraine victories would do much to persuade the west to investing more resources into them? |

but that was one of your non-sequiturs, not mine. you were originally said ukraine is taking less losses so that they will be able to push back after russia is depleted. this is spurious because ukraine and independent reporters have reported at length about their dire manpower position.
but even if that wasn't the case, it's a far-fetched argument that russia, which has ~5x the manpower as ukraine, will run out of manpower before ukraine. to say nothing of whether ukraine currently has a bunch of manpower reserves ready to counterattack in some bunker somewhere. |
