Like she would fire roadies and I think even bandmates for going out drinking with Ozzy while on the road, and at best completely scream and dress down anyone who do so, even when it was Ozzy's idea to go out in the first place. Zakk Wylde has some awesome stories about this. While at the same time Ozzy was doing insane stuff like finger painting entire walls of his hotel room with actual shit (his own turds) while high as a kite. I imagine he slept with hundreds or thousands of groupies and she stuck by him.
That said, yeah, she was a down ass chick, utterly devoted to him, and also probably a big cause of his success. Warren Buffet said that the most important financial decision you ever make is who you marry, and Ozzy won in this regard. |
