This guy had a multimedia setup, like a projector he had a little remote controller for, and his whole routine was he would show a Donald Trump tweet and then react to it. He started out giving pithy Jon Stewart style quips like "He probably thinks Greenland really is as big as it looks on maps", which would get chuckles and polite applause.
But he got increasingly more outré as it went on. He would show a tweet and start ripping at his shirt and crying and pissing and shitting himself on stage while shouting "Blormph" and stuff, the entire performance shifted to mocking libs, and the ones in the crowd became uncomfortable. The gentle laughter stopped. Many didn't "get it" and left. That's what made it so funny. They cut off his mic because he put on a Trump hat and had a friend dressed as Greenland get on stage and simulated raping him. Art should be challenging.
