I love self titled in spite of Dianno. I’m a huge Brucemo and think his voice is essential to the classic maiden sound. But the songs on self titled are better and more varied. Phantom is my all time favorite and Prowler and Transylvania are better than anything on beast aside from Hallowed. |

Number of the beast is better and has its moments but is also pretty monotonous and boring. If it were on a later album, the song would not be nearly as famous. |
