Date: October 12th, 2026 8:22 PM Author: Know-it-all Giraffe The Union troops they were fighting had a much higher percentage of unmotivated recent immigrant draftees than the Union troops fighting in the Western theater had. Chancellorsville is regarded as Lee's masterpiece, but splitting an already outnumbered force and attacking works a lot better when you're fighting immigrants troops who shit their pants and run when attacked. That strat wouldn't have worked against the midwestern farm boys fighting for the Union in TN-GA-MS. (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=5912306&forum_id=2#50186916) |
