Date: January 6th, 2026 3:07 PM Author: Concupiscible Mischievous Sandwich Ape prob wont be. there is pretty strong precedent on being able to try people even if they were essentially kidnapped abroad to be brought to america for trial. his head of state argument is a bit unique, but for anything post 2019, USG will just say he wasn't the recognized leader of Venezuela and courts almost always defer to the government on foreign policy matters.
that said, im not convinced they have very strong evidence to convict him on anything. they are already walking back the "cartel de los soles" bullshit. |
