the model had to have ridiculously bad mpg to qualify for the thing, so the only "cars" that qualified were luxury cars basically. or basically any truck.
it only destroyed like 677,000k vehicles. there are like hundreds of millions of Cars in this country
no one was buying cars at all. Gen X was almost completely financially Ruined.
