My prole district manager called me into the office and shut the door so we could discuss quarterly sales goals and how they might impact my so-called compensation. We went over the various metrics ("This was great, but corporate expects blah blah blah...") and talked about the ups and downs of the previous few months. He finally got to the part about my annual "raise" and slid a piece of paper across the desk for my review. Three fucking percent. I snickered and thought about maeking this thread after reading it, but didn't protest or argue any point. "It's fine," I thought to myself. "It's fine."
