domestically the country is very well. low unemployement after the Nazis take power turns to no unemployment by 1938. hyperinflation defeated. industrial sector is the strongest on earth. anti-degeneracy laws have rid the country of pornography and all its enablers.
april 1938 comes the anschluss, a bloodless unification of germanic peoples, the wehrmacht receives ovations from austrians. the bundesheer, though a bit salty, is absorbed into the wehrmacht, as are the german parts of czech.
springtime through summer 1940, the wehrmacht sweeps through the benelux countries, and norway, denmark, and then france. even in the region of france where no german can be found, Marshall Petain says "this is the way" and replaces liberte, egalite, fraternite with travail, famille, patrie.
springtime 1941 the wehrmacht defeats yugoslavia and greece. yugoslavia takes them a week. the greeks shortly after. the nazis plant the german flag in crete.
summer 1941 the wehrmacht explodes through the USSR and reaches moscow.
In early August 1941, all of Europe is under direct German control or under the control of states that will do anything you say, and there is no sign that the German war machine is slowing down. you have achieved what the romans did at the very height of their power. a thousand year reich on the horizon.
the first cracks are seen in operation smolensk, which, though a "win", began a fast, then gradual decline that continues through the day of this post.
