The country is too gerrymandered to ever pass anything that will help working class people. The best you’ll get from the GOP is no tax on tips which no one pays taxes on anyway.

this is one of those topics where "magic bullets" increasingly have no lasting sway and the more research you do the fewer answers & more questions you're left with. parties will use medicare issues to buy votes in the next decade or two but the actual meat of the issue will probably be left untouched while prices spiral upwards into the "unaffordable" for the great cross-class mass of Americans
the outlook on other "life systems" in the US generally trends towards the positive or neutral but the healthcare system here is one that looks all red no matter what angle you approach it from. i will say that it does not feel good seeing RFK Jr being forced to chase after and wrangle down anti-semitism at a time where the DHS needs to be drawing up and presenting sweeping reform and re-integration plans to the public
