We had a 8 month old puppy that we got at 3 month old who i was the primary caretaker until divorce at which point she got the puppydood. That was always kind the understanding but was still hard.

She was fine with the status but wasn't fine with the texting and said it should have been face to face etc, then kept going on and on about it for like 20 mins and i was finally like "as i've said for the past 15 mins, I've fucking got it".
Then she wanted me to stay over (after she had told me to come over but that I COULD NOT stay over), so I had none of my stuff with me and was already annoyed so I left as soon as she fell asleep.
Then the next day she texted me she was bummed i left and i responded that it was just feeling like too much work and there were too many rules and i just got out of a relationship where i sacrificed myself in so many ways for the other person and was not really looking to fall into a similar situation.
Then she immediately called because everything has to be a phone call and apologized and was like how do we fix it, etc. And I was like I don't know I'm just gonna pull back I guess and let you lead.
And then I did that and now she's more into me than ever before and I've been more and more over it since. |

She's been telling me how busy she is, including literally crying one point about being overwhelmed then over the 3 day weekend she did exactly 8 hrs of work all of which was last night betweeen 4 pm and 3 am because the deadline was this morning.
Honestly at this point, I'm actually sort of done dating for a while. I've fucked like in excess of 20 chicks since separating from wife and I'm a little burnt out on women at the moment. Would rather just hang out with bros, do hobbies I enjoy, focus on work and myself and then maybe go about dating somewhat organically in 3-6 months.
The apps seem like a wasteland of damaged chicks and the hotter chicks in socal don't seem to even be on them.
