If you do the financing (like 12 months or whatever) it does. But if you do the pay in 3 or whatever, it doesnt as its not legally debt.

Why would anyone repay that? Everyone should buy, make 1 payment, then enjoy your 67% discount!

The system was set up so it doesn't count as 'debt' so they wouldn't be beholden to the regulations a regular credit card issuer would have to face (oh wow man 'fintech'!). If they send the debt to collections it will definitely hit your credit.
