He wants to maek it as something other than a movie star. You see this all the time with athletes and entertainers and businessmen. They make it in one field, but they aren't content with that. They want to "win" in another area. They want to have something to "do" after their main career (playing point guard, playing songs, etc.) wraps up.
He's actually not worth anything close to $200M, and he needs to do this to maintain his movie star lifestyle.
He is actually worth $200M, but he wants to get that third comma, and he needs something more than movies to get there.
This is a friend of family member's venture and he's doing them a solid by participating. |
