I think the strongest case for real ufos is that there is a coherent persistent phenomenology across reports and videos. for the videos that could be dismissed as a similar optical effect in the instruments causing the same distortion on mundane objects. but the problem I think is that there are plenty of credible reports from people who witnessed them outside instruments. when you take that into account the ufo explanation starts to actually seem more parsimonious despite invoking something that feels exotic and absurd.
agree with you on roswell, the story on that one is pretty bizarre |
