I've heard that Planet Law School, Law School Insider, and the like are a waste of time.

Are any books of this genre worthwhile?

"Introduction to Legal Reasoning" is a good slim volume. I liked "Law 101," too. Read those and be done with it.

I can't uniquely identify these books from just the title. Who are the authors?

Law School Confidential?

I liked LSC FWIW - though i don't plan on following it's specific strategies too much. it was just useful to get a handle on what to expect, generally.

You go to class (maybe), read the shit (maybe), make an outline (maybe). If you want to learn something useful, learn how to write a good law school exam.

I have heard that "Getting to Maybe" is helpful. Not first hand knowledge, mind you.

Getting to maybe was definitely helpful bec it explains what prof are trying to get u to do on an exam and how u should answer the questions properly. If you want to get freaked out about law school read 1L by Turrow (i really dont understand why Fordham put this on their reccomended reading list)
