Billing dispute? Send a certified letter. They literally think some Fortune 100 company is going to be intimidated by this shit.

There were quite a few memorable moments in NBC News’ one-on-one interview with President Donald Trump that aired tonight. He talked about how he was thinking about the Russia/Trump “made up story” that was on his mind when he fired FBI Director James Comey. He mentioned how good a person Michael Flynn is. He discussed how his “great” conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov could lead to international peace.

And he brought up how a certified letter he has should clear things up when it comes to his ties to Russia.

It was reported prior to the interview that the White House was having a law firm prepare a certified letter that would show that Trump currently has no business links with Russia. The letter would then be delivered to Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

Tonight, he informed Lester Holt that he now has said letter and it’s been given to Graham.

“I just sent a letter from Lindsey Graham from one of the most prestigious law firms in the country that I have nothing to do with Russia,” the President said.

After highlighting some past business dealings he’d had with Russians, such as the Miss Universe Pageant and selling a house to a Russian billionaire, he let Holt know once more he had a letter.

“I have a certified letter, just so you understand,” Trump noted. “I’m not just saying that.” Explaining again that Graham has the letter, he concluded by saying that “it says I’m not involved in Russia.”

*goyim

disputing the charges and/or sending a lawyer letter to the GC by email usually solves anything.

it works more than BBB which is not even a government organization. only experience with cfpb is getting CC points back when banks have pulled them for churning or MS'ing

good to know, thanks.

how many times have you had banks pull your CC points? did you just threaten the cfpb or did you file a complaint?

never happened to me personally, just data points on reddit or whatever. amex was pulling people's points when their 100k platinum offer leaked.

people filed a complaint, which can be done online pretty easily. banks respond pretty quickly.

tbf, send them a certified letter not to contact you abt a debt, it gets lost in the shuffle, they call u, and u just got $1k on a FDCPA violation. Got $2k in medical debt for my wife forgiven this way because we moved to a new area code, they called us at 8:45 our time, which is an FDCPA violation lol.

+1 on the CFPB trick. at the very least, complaining to CFPB makes the offending company's compliance department almost immediately get in touch with you, and you can get a lot more done with them than with the retards on the customer service line.

of course, it's only good against financial institutions.
