Also, she does a devastating explanation on how cheap and evil Disney is — basically the “regular” SW park was supposed to have all the interactive features the hotel did, but Disney cheaped out on the park and put everything behind the effectively paywalled hotel. And even *that* experience was overpriced and shit.
If I were an Econ prof I would assign this video as an example of how add-on/upcharge culture infuriates the customer and makes everything worse. She explains it better than anyone I’ve seen. Disney is basically a fancy version of Spirit Airlines at this point, as she states. |
