Last few months I’m up at 5am and end up just going to the office because I have all this energy and can’t sleep anyway. Date: June 12th, 2025 7:32 AM Author: Ultramarine Degenerate Field also your body begins metabolzing ethanol into acetate better as you become a heavy drinker, which gives you energy. often what happens is as you recover from being drunk your body is metabolzing alcohol into energy so suddenly you wake up with a burst of energy, and quickly crash. lots of comorbidites with things like what you mentioned too. but yeah drunks wake up in a burst and quickly crash, which can be mitigated with more alcohol, hence the vicious cycle.
