I love the sport of football, played it & so did all my male relatives, but the sport is in a bad state, college football is joyless now and the NFL games are mostly really poor quality of play, dead atmosphere, etc. There are like 2-3 good quarterbacks in the entire league. And the top "prospects" in college are terrible.
Gambling & fantasy football are carrying this shit on their back IMO |

The rule changes at both levels are designed to maximize ad revenue, and they don't give a fuck that it debases the viewing experience. These NFL fuckers in particular are also paid millions and millions of dollars to play children's games specifically to account for the CTEs and health problems/early deaths they'll suffer so that the game is fun to watch
I've already done the bare minimum viewing of CFB this season, and I may not tune back in next year at all at this rate |
