It's amazing what these tech companies are trying to get away with. Who can afford to piss money away like that?

I make like $300k-$500k per year which is barely scraping by but way better than the average person and I can't afford to pay delivery. I really wonder how and why people are paying for this shit.

I cut way back from my peak. I'm a huge fan of the service and I would use it way more but it's just crazy. It used to be 15 bucks for a small meal, 20 for a medium, and 25 for a large. Now it's 30/45/60. Really grew. Every $4 item you add seems to add 10 to the total now.

what's crazy is you're paying a huge premium and getting a product (to borrow the mcdonalds CEO's terminology) that is cold, sitting in plastic or foam, and being driven around by some unsanitary brown.

I'm willing to pay some premium for this! I've been messing around with items in my bag. I just found a $10 dinner with $7 in added fees before the tip. LOL

I made homemade chipotle bowls tonight. Grilled chicken and beef. Fresh lettuce, homemade guac, garden jalapenos.

Store bought processed crap included queso, beans, and "southwestern" canned corn.

All in was $70 and like $40 of that was a container of protein powder I bought, so like $30 to feed four with mostly healthy food. And I am a busy lawyer who does a ton of other shit, unreal that people have to doordash shit to their couch

I love the dash but they have to meet me halfway. Need prices to come down. I would be penniless if I did this more than once.

There's no better feeling than sitting on your ass doing nothing while your economic slave drives around your block for an hour unable to find your address while your food gets cold for 3x the price
