Taylor Schabusiness smoked meth and chopped her friend's head off and put it in a bucket, pleaded insanity, and was found guilty. I was sympathetic to this defendant and was mildly surprised she was convicted. The amount of evidence there is that Lindsay Clancy was psychotic is 70,000k times stronger than in the Schabusiness case. This type of case is extremely rare and if lots of women start pleading insanity it's not going to fly. You have to have Special Circumstances.
