i don't think he's a fag in denial - i think he idolizes and obsesses over posters, particularly posters who went to good law schools and are in biglaw. that old steroid post said it all. he's fascinated by the social culture's he's not a part of and obsessively mines details about people that he observes from afar as a way of 'being part of the group' since he obviously can't interact normally.
