On Tuesday, Ernman announced she would mark her upcoming 20th birthday with a live performance at the popular Stockholm gay club Backdoor.
“Bea is celebrating her birthday at Club Backdoor this Friday,” the club announced via Instagram.
“Come and wish her a happy birthday and see her live on stage.”
Beata’s performances combine elements of singing, dancing, pole dancing, and “viral magic”. The update comes a month after the elder Thunberg was deported from Israel for the second time after attempting to reach Gaza as part of a flotilla carrying “aid”.
The Global Sumud Flotilla, a convoy of boats bound for Gaza, aimed to deliver humanitarian aid and building materials while challenging Israel’s long-standing naval blockade.
Israel claimed the group attempted to “breach a lawful naval blockade,” while organisers said their actions were legal under international law and driven by humanitarian motives.
While the siblings do not share the same surname, it is understood Greta and Beata remain close, with Thunberg publicly praising her “super talented sister”.
