The Iranian government provided a list of 3k people with their national ID numbers and full names, so I’ll assume that’s the minimum amount of deaths. Human rights organizations have not been able to confirm anything even close to 20k.
Hrana provided a list of about 5k names in their reports but some of the entries are from dubious sources or don’t even include a last name, but i wouldn’t be surprised if the real number of deaths is somewhere closer to that |
